Rental Policy and Fees
To better assist our customers, in the event of an equipment failure,
PTI has adopted an equipment Rental Program. This program is designed to provide temporary replacement
equipment to the customer if it has been determined that the existing equipment is damaged and/or faulty
and in need of factory repairs.
The Fees associated with this program are as follows:
Falcon Base Units $75.00 each
Standard Keypads $45.00 each
Keypad w/Intercom $45.00 each
CodeXpress $45.00 each
Procedure:
It is the customer's responsibility to return their damaged and/or faulty equipment to PTI in a timely
manner. All rental equipment is for a maximum of 30 days. Any rental equipment not received by PTI before
30 days will be billed to the customer at the full list price of the equipment. PTI is not responsible
for freight; the customer is responsible for shipping charges to and from PTI. Rental Equipment must be
in the same working condition as received by the customer. Any required repairs will be billed accordingly.
Invoicing:
You will receive two invoices from PTI shortly after the rental equipment arrives. One will be for
the 30 day rental fee and shipping charges, the other will be for the purchase price of the rental equipment.
Terms on the rental fee & shipping will be Net 30, COD, or prepaid by Credit Card, according to your
account payment terms. The invoice for the purchase price of the rental equipment will be credited, if
the equipment received by PTI within 30 days, otherwise, this invoice must be paid. The repair invoice
will follow once the repair has been made.
Warranty Repairs:
Rental fees still apply to warranty repairs. If the rental equipment is requested and your faulty
equipment is still under warranty, all rental charges will still
apply.
